Mission

"Open Heaven Ministries exists to encourage revival and empower this generation to reach the lost among all peoples and nations, by providing young people with quality opportunities for a life-changing encounter with God thru Jesus Christ."

 Vision Statement

"As we affirm the spiritual heritage of the past and value the treasure of each ethnic culture, we will endeavor to: assist first generation Americans and other young people to stretch with the Spirit's power in reaching the lost captured in the culture of the present and the future with the gospel of Jesus Christ through camps, conferences, ministry training, missions projects and networking with various ethnic churches and denominations."

    Vision: (Where to?)

    -         To reach the young generation of Romanian-Americans and other ethnic groups with the Gospel of  Jesus Christ
    -         To work together with the local churches in reaching the lost
    -        To equip the youth for service in their local church
    -        To help raise / activate youth leaders that would serve the young generation
    -        To prepare an environment where the youth would have a real encounter with God and would prepare / encourage a long awaited revival
    -     To promote a new model of personal and financial accountability that would build trust.
    Values: (What?)
    -         People oriented
    -         Kingdom oriented
    -         Local church oriented
    -         Team work
    -         Focused on spiritual things that got “lost” throughout the generations
    -         Accountability
    Vehicle: (How?)
    -         Organizing camp meetings, regional youth meeting and seminars + networking.
    -         Visits to different local churches, meeting with pastors, shared leadership, involvement of different youth groups and ministries.
    -         Since some of our leaders are currently involved in different local churches, we offer the guaranty of a good cooperation with the local churches.
    -         The logistic of our activities requires involvement of leaders that receive on the job/hands on training; they are also trained in special meetings.
    -         The rules, the way we conduct the programs (worship, prayer and fasting, preaching, activities), the leadership’s behavior must promote holiness and expectation of God’s divine intervention.
    -         Trust and accountability is build by making ourselves vulnerable and open to scrutiny by all Church’s authority.
    -         We want to promote servant leadership and leave by the golden rule of Matt. 22:37-39.

“ Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
